ABOUT EBT
The Entrepreneurship and Business in Technology (EBT) Doctoral Community aims to give PhD students a taste of business and entrepreneurship. We are dedicated to expanding the range of career opportunities for PhD students by informing on the wide variety of business career opportunities and providing business education. Doing so, we create a strong community by stimulating interaction among PhDs and connecting PhDs with our professional partners. Together, we can bridge academia and business.

Vincent Lenders
Co-Founder & President
Hi,
I am Vincent, a PhD student in the field of nanobiotechnology. My research is primarily focused on developing nanotechnological therapies for neonatal and immunological diseases. My curiosity for scientific valorisation and commercialisation was my main driver for cofounding EBT Doctoral Community, while I enjoy being part of our amazing team!
Charlotte van Tricht
Co-Founder
As a 2nd year PhD student, I am conducting research at the crossroads between CRISPR-Cas9 technology and in situ biosensing. At the same time, I have been actively searching for ways to complement my scientific scope with business and financial acumen. Leading the EBT Doctoral Community will help develop these skills even further, while also enabling fellow PhD colleagues to broaden their horizons and potentially find exciting career opportunities after their PhD trajectory.
Sam van Minnebruggen
Events Coordinator
Hi, I am Sam, a third year PhD student focusing on catalysis (KU Leuven, cMACS group). As member of EBT, my main ambition is to inspire other peers via interesting lectures that connect PhD holders with future career possibilities.
